Hello,
My name is Isaac H. Washington, SR. born May 8, 1952; Fresno, CA; between my mother and father, I was the only child born. When I was born, my parents said we've got to get this kid to TEXAS! I was NOT born here but got here as quick as I could. I was born with a sixth finger, removed shortly after I was born. Didn't find out until I was a young adult the spelling of my first name on my birth certificate is "Isaak".

My step-brother comes from CA, stops in Midland. He calls me, hey brother; you ought to come out here to Midland. Well at this point in my life I was searching and wanting to make a move. I needed to get out of Dallas. I came to here in 1975, fell in love with not only the town, just what I wanted, be able to go to town and back in 5-minutes. Not only did I fell in love with Midland, found the love of my life, my wife: Lei, pronounce-"Leah" Lani, CAVIL; (it’s a Hawaiian name);

We lived in several towns in Texas, and then in 1959 my family settled in Dallas; went to elementary, junior high, and graduated from South Oak Cliff High School in 1971. 1st taste West Texas, 1970, our football team, was picked to win state, was 13-0; our team came to West Texas and played in a play-off game with a team that many of you are probably familiar with: Odessa Permian final score: 31-13; (They whipped us like we had stolen something!)

Just a side note my brother was bringing me here to "hook me up" with a different young lady, true story, the girl I am married to for 47 plus years (was a very close friend to the lady that my brother was trying to hook me up with) and we have 4 children, 2 boys and 2 girls-ARE the "BOOKENDS" and blessed with 9 grandchildren, the newest one being born on JUST yesterday. Our youngest daughter just got married 30th of June. I look back and ask when my baby girl is. We lost 1 baby girl between our oldest daughter and our oldest son, from the oldest son to the youngest they are 2 years apart, from each other.
